Could Not Read Reply From Control Connection Timed Out Ncftpput
I want to use TCP Wrappers access control with NcFTPd so I tried to run NcFTPd from the inetd.conf file. PRTG is easy to set up &use. ncftp / > dir > dir Cmd: PORT 192,168,1,36,221,20 200: PORT command successful. Cmd: PWD 257: "/" Logged in to 188.8.131.52 as username.
I see this from hotel rooms where I ssh into a machine and fail to do something for some time (as short as 5 minutes sometimes!) # echo 60 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_keepalive_time Falling back to PORT instead of PASV mode. ncftpput /home/tmp/ramdileo/compania.tar.gz: could not send file to remote host.
Lost data connection to remote host: Broken pipe. Trying to connect to the server errs out with "connection refused." That means no process is currently listening for the connection; make sure NcFTPd is running. Cmd: CLNT NcFTP 3.2.4 linux-x86_64-glibc2.12 500: Unknown command. Register Help Remember Me?

Try the manual pages for exports, dfstab, share, nfsd, etc to see how to do that, since the exact process varies per platform.
