After installing this update, the vmware-tools-config.pl no longer recognizes the version of Xorg (1.10), and trashed my X setup and display.
I have figured a work around using VNC but this is not a permanent solution. The reason I hate the VNC setup is because this is Audio Broadcasting software and the DJ's will have to use it via VNC which is extremely slow and horrible....... Registration is quick, simple and absolutely free. Ubuntu and Redhat specifically.
