From everything I've read, glx support should work out of the box with intel drivers, so I assume my problem has something to do with the fact that I was running But I'm getting some graphical glitches and when investigating I found that glx doesn't seem to be working properly. In fact, doing rpm -qa | fgrep fc16 revealed a couple of other packages in the same state (notably mdadm). alternatively, you can get the latest released version from ftp://ftp.x.org/pub/individual/driver/.
